Hôtel De La Plage

Marvelous hotel right on the beautiful beach with an outstanding service! The surrounding is beautiful, with pines creating shadow on the hotel territory in front of the sea. The beach is sandy with small stones, it’s fine to swim without any special shoes. Nice for kids as well. We stayed there unplanned, but that appeared to be the best stay on the coast from Cassis to Le Lavandou. If you are looking for several days of peaceful chill at the seaside without crowd and noise of the resorts, this is just for you. We spent one day in the room with sea view and terrace , which is awesome ! And another day in room with a balcony and sea view. You can hear the waves from the sea, but you can also hear happy people in the bar right in front of the hotel 😂 so, you decide 🙃 with closed windows it’s ok to sleep while people are having fun in the bar. The sun beds are of extra charge , But the beauty is you can book them. 10 eur per 1 sunbed for the whole day - in the first row (closest to the beach on the hotel terrace). There are beach towels provided by the hotel. The restaurant is really nice. They serve standard breakfast: croissants, baguette, butter, cheese, jam, yoghurts, fruit , fresh orange and you can choose hot beverage. Black coffee and cappuccino are really nice. Throughout the day you can order a-la carte. And the menu is really nice and delicious,. There is also a menu of the day, which changes every day: 2 starters, 2 main dishes, 2 desserts. You can order them as full menu (34 eur total) or separately, as starter / main dish / desert of the day. Which is really nice, because every day you have something new.

We stayed at the end of September until the establishment closed for the winter season. What a shame, we would have liked to have stayed longer. All the staff were professional, smiling and caring. The setting is just perfect for a real vacation in disconnection mode. The waterfront hotel is ideally located. Our room was spacious, clean and functional. The view was very pleasant. We slept well there and enjoyed the calm. Thanks to Aciel and Marianne for their professionalism and kindness. Thank you also to all the room staff who do an excellent job. You gave us an excellent vacation.

The hotel lives up to its name, it's simple, it's on the beach. We have been coming here for 15 years. The place is magnificent. The view from the sea side rooms is breathtaking! You have lunch on your balcony facing a sparkling sea. The restaurant "Le Jardin" welcomes you for careful meals under the pine trees or the pergola. Dish of the day, fish or meat, at a very reasonable price. Daily menu or seasonal menu. All the staff are welcoming and the atmosphere is nice! You can rent deckchairs for the day but there is not always one for everyone... you have to reserve and insist, unfortunately... because no priority for hotel residents 😕 Aiguebelle beach is a little unspoiled paradise and the sea is transparent. Hotel regulars meet up every year on the same dates, it's nice and so we don't see ourselves getting old... ☺️ Prices have increased a little too much over the last two years, we hope this will not continue! See you next year, so, the reservation has already been made...
